Microsoft claimed that the future mobile operation system will become an “ad-serving” machine; this is based on the latest demo from Windows Phone 7.

“WP7 is an extra step on our NUI (natural user interface). We’re trying to get technology from the street people.” Stated Kostas Mallios, general manager of Microsoft’s strategy and business development speaking at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival held in French.

“For the consumer, this means basically is a smooth experience, social connectivity seamlessly not only about the application, clear about cell phones and media. For these marketers are really turned off in my view, to become an engine for ad serving.” Add Mallios.
