The Apple Inc. is ignoring criticism conveyed to consumers about the iPhone 4. Consumer Reports claimed the fourth-generation mobile phone the iPhone was not worth buying.
Apple does not provide any confirmation of the related statement of Consumer Reports. Various requests for comment that are submitted by telephone or electronic mail are unrequited.
Executive Director of Product and Brand Management Center University of Wisconsin, Deborah Mitchell says people buy the iPhone for emotional reasons, not because the iPhone is the best phone. “When others see you using the iPhone, they’ll think you’re the type that trendy, fresh and young,” he said. “This is a brand that helps you identify yourself.”
At its first launch early in June, iPhone 4 deified as the smart phone performance in a variety of features such as browsing, playing music, films and suitable for various applications.
As reported, a product assessment institution Consumer Reports says that they do not support the iPhone 4 as the smartphone recommended for use by consumers as there are signal problems.
Apple initially stated problem occurs because the function of the antenna signal will be disrupted when the user touches the lower left side of the device. Then Apple provides a solution to “sell” special casing so that the antenna is immersed user’s finger activities undisturbed.
However, Apple recently acknowledged that the weak signal in the smartphone that caused problems in software. According Thinq.com, Apple hit by Consumer Reports earlier statement and “reciprocate” by removing some existing thread on the site Consumerreports.org. Apple shares also fell because of the statement.
